INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs Boise River Lamb Ground Lamb
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 6 buns
- 4 oz feta
- lettuce
- tomatoes, slices
For the tzatziki
- 6 oz Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber
- 2 tbsps dill
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Combine ground lamb, oregano, garlic and black pepper. Form into 6 even sized patties.
- Grill patties on medium high heat for 5 minutes per side or until desired temperature is reached. CAREFUL when flipping. When done, pull off and rest.
- While burgers are resting, make the tzatiki. (If you don't want to make your own, store bought is a great option too!) Peel the cucumber and grate. Using a cheese cloth, squeeze out extra liquid from the cucumber. Combine yogurt, dill, and garlic, and cucumber. Add salt to taste.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, slice of tomato, tzatiki, and top with feta. Enjoy!
